Award Winning Books for StudentsBookfinder by Title / Author

Directions for a Title Search: To search our Award Winners Database by book title, do not include the words "a" and "the" if they are the first word in a title.  Start with the next word.  If you are unsure of the title, you can search using only a key word or phrase from the title, such as  "fourth" or "fourth grade" for Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing.  A string of disconnected words from a title, such as Fourth and Nothing, will not result in a successful search.  Then click on the method you are using, Title, and the search button.

Directions for an Author Search: When performing a search using the author's name, you may use the first name and last name, such as Judy Blume;  or the last name followed by the first name, such as  Blume, Judy; or just the last name, such as Blume.  The name must be spelled correctly for the search to be completed successfully.  Do not use punctuation marks such as a colon or apostrophe.  For example, if a name begins with an abbreviation, as in L'Engle, do not use the apostrophe , just Engle.  The first name alone will not result in a successful search.  Then click on the method you are using, Author, and the search button.
