The Bookfolios Database ready-to-print student activities and resources that support  the Core Collection of 150 titles for Grades 3-8.   Each title is supported by its Bookfolio that includes fifteen independent and group activities related to that title and genre.  These literature-based activities are designed to stimulate the reader's interaction with books;  to take the reader more deeply into the book and nourish extensive reading experiences with intensive exploration of the text;  to encourage readers to revisit a book many times and for different reasons; to provide readers with a variety of narrative forms and text structures unique to a genre; and to promote the integration of literature in the reading and language arts curriculum as well as across the curriculum.  The following describes the resources in each Bookfolio.

Independent and Group Activities for Your Students

In each Bookfolio, there are fifteen student-based activities that you can choose for your students, or they can select on their own.  Bookfolios can be accessed as a subscriber where access is unlimited, or as a purchaser of Bookfolios, where access is limited to the selected Bookfolio(s) or Collections of Bookfolios. 

1.  As a subscriber to literatureplace, you have many options on how to access and use the activities.  You can access the activities directly from the web page, which is the viewing version.  You can then access the PDF version of that activity, which is the published or ready-to-use version, and download it. Or you can choose to import the activity from the web page into your word processor and modify or customize the activity and/or publish.

 2.  If you choose to purchase Bookfolios in print or download version, you will receive the PDF version, which is the published or ready-to-hand-out version.
