Our Subscription Service

literatureplace.com Can Become Any Teacher's Favorite Educational Tool!literatureplace.com offers a subscription service based on a site license at the building level.  As a subscriber, all teachers at your school site have access to all the online resources and tools available in our two databases along with other online resources:

I. Bookfolios Database: Your site has access to the Core Collection of 150 Bookfolios  representing five literary genres.  The collection is configured across three levels, Levels I, II, and III, and reflects the reading and interest levels of students in grades 3-8.  Each trade book in the core collection is supported through its Bookfolio, a comprehensive collection of student-directed instructional resources which includes six independent activities, six group activities designed for use before, during, and after reading the book, twenty multiple-choice questions, and a vocabulary starter.

II. Award Winners Database You have access to the most comprehensive online database over 2,400 titles.  It currently includes 121 awards programs reflecting both institution awards and young readers' choice awards programs.  You can use the information generated by this database in many ways: to customize and publish an Annotated Booklist designed to meet your students' needs, to collect and post bookviews of the award-winning books, to develop a classroom library of award-winners, to integrate the award selection process into the curriculum, and/or to involve parents in the literature program.

III My Place: You will have your own personal space where you log in and access any of the resources. You will feel more at home at My Place where you will also be able to access your local information centers such as the weather, community resources, local maps and yellow pages.
